Terms of service
Last updated:
The agreement between Kidslen and the parents or guardians who use our transparent parental monitoring service.
Who may use Kidslen
Kidslen accounts are for adults who are the parent or legal guardian of the children they enroll. By creating a family you confirm that you have that authority and that you will tell the child, in language they understand, what Kidslen shares with you.
Transparency requirement
Kidslen must be used openly. You agree not to attempt to hide, disguise, rename or silence the companion app, and not to use Kidslen to monitor an adult or a child who is not in your care. We may suspend accounts that attempt to circumvent the transparency features.
Connected platforms
You are responsible for complying with the terms of the platforms you connect (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook). Kidslen is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by these companies, and access may change if a platform changes its policies.
Early access
During early access the service is provided free of charge and may change, pause or be discontinued. We will give reasonable notice and an export window before any shutdown. If a paid Family plan is introduced, its price and terms will be published before you are asked to pay.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Kidslen to harass, stalk or intimidate anyone.
- Do not try to access other families’ data or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission (see our security page for responsible disclosure).
- Do not resell the hosted service.
Warranty and liability
Kidslen is provided “as is”. It is a tool that supports conversations about screen time; it does not replace supervision and we cannot guarantee that every activity is captured. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Termination
You can delete your family at any time from the dashboard. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the country where Kidslen is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Contact: [email protected].
