YouTube history and Android app time
YouTube provides watch history; Android measures time in supported apps. TikTok, Instagram and Facebook connectors do not provide watched-content history.

See activity after the phone syncs. Updates depend on connectivity and operating-system background limits.

Instant alerts
Get notified the moment a limit is reached or a keyword shows up in a title or search.
SOS and check-in
The child presses an SOS button to send help and their location, or a tap to say “I’ve arrived”. Child-initiated, not surveillance.
Location the child can see
Request one position from the dashboard — every request shows on the child’s screen. A 30-day timeline, safe zones and a child-controlled pause switch.
Schedules that remind, not lock
Bedtime and study-hour windows show a gentle reminder on the child’s phone. A soft, agreed nudge — never a hard lock.
Age-risk content labels
Titles and search terms are sorted into eight risk categories for an alert. Only titles are read — never private content or messages.
Network filtering the child grants
Block chosen domains or an app’s internet through an on-device VPN the child allows and Android shows. Hard block-on-launch is not shipped.
Your data stays yours
Retention limits by default, one-click export and one-click delete. We never sell data and there are no ads.

The parent dashboard opens in any modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone — there is no extra app for the parent to install.
How it works
Three steps, and the child is part of every one of them.
Step 1: Enroll with a code
Create a family in the web dashboard and get a one-time pairing code. Install the companion app on the child’s phone and enter the code together.
Step 2: The child sees the transparency banner
The app shows a permanent “monitored by” banner and a transparency screen explaining what is shared. Consent is recorded before anything is collected.
Step 3: You get the dashboard
Watch-time stats, a live feed, policies and alerts — all in your browser, with data you can export or delete at any time.

Monitoring a child is a responsibility. Kidslen is designed so that it can only be used openly.
No hidden mode
The companion app cannot be hidden, renamed or silenced. The “monitored by” banner is always on screen.
Consent on record
Both the parent and the child acknowledge what is collected. The record is visible in the app and the dashboard.
Data minimization
We collect titles, platforms, durations and, on Android, per-app screen time — never screen recordings or messages from other apps. Kidslen family chat is stored. Location is shared only with a separate consent, one position about every 15 minutes.
Retention limits
Activity is kept for a limited period by default, then removed automatically.
Export and delete your data
Export child data or delete child profiles and your account in Settings. Shared family records and backups follow the privacy policy.
